This is a very unassuming place from the outside, but inside is a very nice, cozy Spanish restaurant.
I had the sincronizada on the lunch menu which was very rich in flavor. They also have decent horchata here.
The chips we got were also very good. They very busy when I went, so I think the food I didn't get is also very good.
I would highly recommend Los Tres Magueyes.

Los Tres Magueyes Mexican Restaurant is a great local chain to the greater Raleigh area that serves Mexican style cuisine.
The service is amazing and fast! This location sets the atmosphere to make it guests feel like they're in a Mexican cantina from the Old Wild West era.
I ordered the Chori Pollo burrito which came stuffed with grilled chicken and chorizo inside a burrito-sized flour tortilla, topped with queso and served with rice and salad or refried beans. The food was made fresh and very delicious.
I highly recommend Los Tres Magueyes to anybody looking for a quick, not too expensive, Mexican Restaurant.

Good place for a quick bite. Better than most in the area. Staff is always friendly. Only downside, they don't have table side guacamole 🥑

I've eaten here for 20 years or longer at this point. This is an honest Mexican restaurant with a wide menu. The service is attentive and quick, perfect for lunch or dinner.
I pretty much always get the Chori Pollo Burrito. It's delicious. Try one.

UPDATE: LIVE ROACH in our salad. We ordered takeout on June 6, 2020. Got home and our take out salad had a live roach running around in it. Made us drive all the way back to return all the food before they would credit our money back. The manager barely apologized, mumbled sorry, only after looking totally sceptical that the roach would be in the salad. The review used to be 5 stars, I can't do 0 stars so I guess 1 star it is. We will NEVER eat at any of the Los Tres Magueyes locations again. Poor customer service and roaches, not a good combo.
