Yesterday had to be one of the worst moving experiences I have had in my life. I will never use all my sons or recommend their services to anyone. When I first booked I was a little skeptical because the representative was side tracked by her daughter bringing her mail and how many bills she had while making my appointment, but still gave them a chance. I was told that someone would contact me to confirm my appointment, but they never did so I called and confirmed on my on. When I spoke with John in Raleigh (I believe this was his name) he was polite but did not include the fact that before they move your items off the truck into your home,storage, etc you have to PAY THEM. And they charge you for all the materials they use in addition to what you are paying them hourly and this was not disclosed either. My appointment was set for the morning but I received a call the day of letting me know they had call outs so the movers would be to me between 12pm-3pm. Isaiah Brown called me to let me know that they would be stopping for lunch and then heading to my apartment to move by 3pm. They arrived at 3:16pm and happened to forget the paper work required so they didn’t start until almost 3:30pm. Now when you BOOK they tell you NO MINIMUM but Isaiah let me know that I was being charged for 3 hours automatically. I had a three stop move, but because of service and the time the movers took we only made it to two stops. I paid for 2 movers which I was fine with and all I signed up for, but they included a 3rd as well for no reason. He spent time on his phone and moved what he wanted too. While moving things out of my apartment I explained what was fragile and what was not, but they didn’t seem to care. They threw trash over my apartment complex balcony and almost hit a resident walking out with the trash and laughed about. When we got to storage unit they wasted about 30 minutes of time before moving things out of the truck. At this point I had already made contact with the Raleigh office and spoke with a young lady who was just as rude as the movers so there was nothing I could do. Isaiah demanded that we pay before moving things into the storage unit because he didn’t want us to “ get off with our shit” before they moved in into the storage unit. When they put my things in storage they were slamming my items and just throwing things in the unit. I asked them if they could rearrange a few things and the disrespect continued. Isaiah kept picking up personal calls on the move and was extremely aggressive with me and my boyfriend. He was punching walls in the storage unit and took the trash that he said he would take and threw it off the back of the truck leaving it in front of my storage unit. Isaiah proceeded to tell me that he would not get in for his actions because “this ain’t our shit”. Unprofessional is an understatement of what I experienced yesterday all for a 1 bedroom apartment move. I hope no one else has to experience a move like this.

Hired these guys for a local move. Nigel, David, Fjay did an amazing job. They meticulously wrapped all of our furniture in moving blankets and plastic wrap to ensure our pieces made it to their new home safely. They even plastic wrapped our mattresses. They truly went above and beyond.

This review is written since there is not a contact email to contact All My Sons about careless handling.
Many items were damaged upon delivery after we discovered that some plastic containers were scattered in pieces at our departing apartment. Upon further investigation to the damages the following items were damaged and/or no longer function.
1. Instant Ace Plus Blender (photo attached) has its glass shattered and cannot use.
2. Reservoir Cover for Espresso (photo) that cannot function without a sealed lid (which has shattered).
3. Ceramic dishes that ended up in pieces (photo).
4. Large Dresser is missing one of its supporting legs (1/2), which we decided to remove the other since it's unlikely that the moving team still possesses this part.
5. Countless screws & shelves lost/damaged due to furniture being wrapped rather than secured then wrapped.
We are still unpacking items from our move that occured nearly 4 days ago, still expecting to find more broken pieces to things we thought were fine.
Nearly $300 in damages for service that racked up $700 in the service cost.
At least the labor guys were personable & nice, but losing items that are used every day in my household is a definitive deal-breaker.

The Guys Arrived on time. Got things packed and loaded in timely manner. Very respectful! And they cleaned their trash is as well as did a walkthrough to make sure they had got everything! I had an awesome crew and I would definitely recommend them and use them again for future services.

All My Sons was a delight to work with from the moment they answered the phone until the fabulous crew drove away leaving my POD loaded exactly like I uniquely needed it to be*. (for me to be able to add additional light weight items before a different company is already contracted to move the pod to California).And in an hour and 1/2 LESS time than we scheduled for, they did three extra tasks that weren't in the original plan! I needed a very large POD RELOADED because moving plans changed right after it was partially loaded the first time by my son and two friends. (A physics PhD and 2 engineers who thought disabled grandma would be able to add the rest of her stuff by climbing over teeter totter fragile antiques from to back?????) PLUS the All My Sons crew were so efficient time wise(in spite of our having TOO .much fun in the process!) that they also moved and stacked my washer and drier*,loaded a few bins into another POD*,moved some new flooring I had stacked inside*, in the way, and hauled a large IKEA sectional downstairs (which meant taking it apart and reassembling it)*. Even scheduling was an ordeal for the company because I had to reschedule twice. Then both my phones crashed so we lost communication on the finalized scheduled day so they made a wasted trip to my house that was not their fault. They indeed felt like caring (smarter) family, and these virtual sons understood my needs and beyond better than my own physicist son and his engineer friends!! And accomplished 3x the tasks in the same amount of time!!!!! The *** refer to the attached images. The small pod was just to get things out of the way from inside the house, not even included in today's agreement. What was especially remarkable was that I had to be able to access drawers that the initial loading blocked, because I had packed them with items I wound up needing when my move to California date changed from last March to ???? due to a sudden health issue that has to be addressed here. These types of unusual challenges usually make pros crazy or even refuse to deal with. But this crew accomplished the initial challenging task cheerfully and as though they read my mind in addition to understanding unique instructions!!!! The fourth image shows where the disconnected washer was (in the bathroom😜).The drier had to be pushed into the living room in order to then stack it on top of the washer (which was on a really challenging rolling platform that grandma (me) had constructed months ago and physics son insisted should stay in the bathroom.) These guys are gifts from God. When I finally am ready to move my remaining things to join my son in California, I pray this same crew is still with All My Sons, which I will definitely use again.
