10/10 experience! Customer service was outstanding! We were given explanations of the whole process along with visuals and a pamphlet which left us feeling completely confident with the product. The installation was done timely and with such great care. The results are phenomenal! With over a dozen pine trees on our lot and lots of wind and rain this season, Leaf Filter gutter guards were a must!

I had a great experience with LeafFilter. They came to give me a quote one day and, due to the slow time of year, they were able to do the install the very next day. The gentleman who came to do the install, all on his own, arrived promptly and was finished with the job in 4 hours. He was also very pleasant and answered any questions that I had. I highly recommend this company!

The sales rep states that the gutters will not get clogged and will even prevent pine straw from clogs. They do not. The website says "End cleaning out gutters for good" This system will not do that. They want to charge a $95 service fee for cleaning the system that is supposed to prevent clogs for good. Total scam.

I had a home estimate appointment set at Lowes for 30March2024. Two days prior, a representative named Adam calls me to confirm the estimate appointment. Before Adam's call, I heard horror stories of the extremely high price of their product so I told Adam not to waste their time if the high price horror stories were true, Adam reassured me that they were reasonably priced. FF>> to 30March2024, The Sales/Estimate guy David showed up on his appointment day and reasonably on time. I do NOT live in a mansion or anything, my home is single story, and L shaped, so no special equipment was necessary. I only needed one 10ft down-spout replaced and approximately 192ft of Leaf Filter. The installation would have been mostly a straight shot with only one miter cut. For one down spout and Leaf Filters installed I was quoted a whopping $8598.00! The mark up on this product is extremely high. I declined the service. David took off 10% for my military service and presented me with $7738.00! Again I declined the service. David asked me for my in-store Lowes coupon which took off 20% and presented me with $6190.00! Once again I declined the service and went inside. About 30 minutes later the David knocks on my door and tells me that he's new and has only been with the company for a few days and needs to make a sale. He says his boss gave him authorization to give me his employee discount and presented me with approximately $2700 (iirc because he didn't write this number down on paper and my Lowes work order history mysteriously disappeared from my account). David was now at my house for about FOUR HOURS so I felt bad and agreed. We set an installation appointment for 19June2024. FF>> to 27April2024 at 09:12. A guy named Chris with Leaf Filter sends me a message saying He sees my appointment for June2024 and asked if I would push my appointment up to April2024 because they are slow on work and to call him back if I want to proceed. And that is all he says and asks (This is important, I still have the text message). FF>> to 18June2024 I call and text Chris asking when I should expect his work crew to show up. No answer, no response. FF>> to 19June2024 (Installation day) I am up, ready, and outside by 07:00 making my driveway clear for a work crew, I weed whack around the perimeter where I assume work will be performed. Around 08:00 and 08:15 I call Chris to ask when I should expect them to show up with no answer. A minute later I call the 800/866 number. The first lady verifies that I have an account and says that she does not see me on the schedule for today. She says she will message the local manager to give me a call to see if they can come out today. Approx. one hour later I call the 800/866 number again, the next lady verifies me. I tell her I called a hour ago and haven't received a call yet, she says she sees the note sent to the local manager, she says she will add onto that note and mark it urgent. I tell her if they don't show up by 12:00 to cancel the entire work order. She assures me that the local manager will call me back this time. Around 11:30 I call the 800/866 number. The third lady verifies me. As she's reading the notes I tell her I've been waiting for a call for about 3.5 hours. She informs me that in April2024 when I didn't allow Chris to push my appointment up he notated in the system that I did not want to push my appointment up to April AND that I refused to confirm my JUNE appointment so he canceled my work order. Because I am not on the schedule I would have never received a phone call today. She said she isn't sure why the first two ladies told me I would receive one. I told her I still have Chris's message in writing and he never asked me to confirm my June appointment. I thanked her for saving me a ton of money and asked for the cancellation notice email that i never received from Chris in April2024. Who confirms appointments 2 months ahead? I understand a few days ahead, a week ahead, maybe even two weeks ahead.

This is an initial review of LeafFilter. I will update as time goes by. After having old gutter "helmets" removed from our gutters during a roofing job, I decided to not put anything over the gutters. Two years later, a two-story home, a fear of heights, and I changed my mind. I did some research and LeafFilter seems to be one of the most reputable options. I was able to set up a free quote for a day after I requested it. The sales person arrived on-time and was very friendly. Make no mistake about it: this will be a high-pressure sales pitch, complete with a discount for signing on the spot. It was friendly, but it was typical sales with a million reasons why we should buy. So, be prepared. The quote is good for 12-mos but they will do their darndest to get you to sign. Cost: our quoted cost was about $5,000 for a large home (2,400 sq ft with attached garage) with lots of gutters (including a large roofed, screened-in porch), no need for any replacement gutters or parts. There are financing options (12-mos interest-free via Wells Fargo). Included: cost included all material (they use a stainless steel surgical type mesh that attaches to the gutter), cleaning and balancing of the gutters, installation including sealing of seams with silicone, and clean-up. Schedule: We were scheduled out about a week, but received a call the next day that an installer was available. He arrived slightly later than the scheduler said, but no big deal for us. The installer was very professional, worked diligently, seemed to do a great job. It took about 5-6 hours. He was careful to clean up and used a leaf blower to leave things nice. Note: this was just completed yesterday, so this is an initial review. I will add more information after we have received some rain, and then will hopefully update this down the road as time goes on!
