We called Nexus Chimney when our home inspector showed us drone photos that our chimney cap was damaged, rusting all over and allowing water to leak down the pipe into the fireplace. Nexus Chimney came out and assessed our situation at no charge and provided a fair estimate. We hired them to replace our chimney chase cover and cap to keep the water out and we now know stainless steel is just a better product to weather the elements. We even had them paint the rust stained siding boards since the previous owners had leftovers in the garage. The repair crew didn't hesitate and everything turned out better than we expected!

Nexus was professional, thorough, and timely from start to finish. At the initial inspection of our chimney, we were given a full set of options with absolutely no pressure on what to accept, and we were told how long it would take to fabricate the new chimney cap. When the chimney cap was received, Nexus called to schedule the installation with a specific date and time, and we received an email two days before installation to confirm the appointment. On the day of installation, Nexus arrived on time and completed the entire job in just two hours with no disruption to our daily routine and with no clean-up required on our part. Nexus even cleaned out one of our gutters that needed it. Very pleased.

We had Patrick and him team do repairs on our chimney. We started with external repairs and we are going to have him come back for fireplace work. Patrick is very knowledgeable. He has great follow up and his pricing is reasonable. We are very happy with his work. Highly recommend!

Nexus Chimney did an excellent job and I would hire them again in a heartbeat. We needed to have two old chimneys partially demolished and a gas insert removed. Patrick and his small crew did a great job with the demolitions themselves and especially with how well they fixed everything else up afterward - the new roofing, the insulation and steel plates in the chimney where the gas insert was, and sealing off the tops of the old chimneys in the attic. They also did a little masonry work to fill in the cracked masonry left over in the bottom of the fireplace after the gas insert was removed, which is something I think 90% of other companies would not have done since it wasn't technically in the scope of work I had signed off on. Going above and beyond like that and taking care of every little thing is what makes businesses great.
Throughout the process, Patrick communicated with me, doing the site visit and quote himself and then doing a lot of the actual work himself too. That's part of what makes me trust them and would make me go back to them - that I know exactly who I'm dealing with, I can see how invested he is in his own company, and I know I can always go back to him with questions or if issues arise. Bottom line: great company, great work, grateful customer.

Nexus and Patrick were great to work with! We had a problem with a leaky chimney/mantelpiece due to water penetration through the bricks and cracks in the top, as well as a too-small cap. We got quotes from four different chimney companies, and due to the sharp angle of the roof and height of the chimney these were not cheap - but Nexus gave us the best price and confidence in their approach. They put every part of the service (powerwash, waterproofing, custom cap, corbeling, crown repair) as line items with details, in writing, and explained it all to us with photographs. The work was completed in a day (except for a complimentary removal of an old satellite dish that they came back to do). So far it has held up through 1 heavy rain storm, so we are hopeful that the summer storm season will go well. Definitely recommend them - and Patrick was so nice!
